Let The Fun Begin...

A Week With Jack
A dream come true...a week with our little Jack without any parental supervision. While Stefanie and Ed were in Alaska, we were able to babysit Jack. I could tell Stefanie was a little nervous about leaving her little boy for the first time because she kept telling me what I should and should not do. If I had any question as to his schedule or what he should eat all I had to do was open a cupboard. There were little notes taped everywhere. I just chuckled to myself and pretended to pay attention. The week was what Kayle and I would call EXCITING! It was so much fun to be with him from the time he woke up in the morning until we kissed him good night. Being a grandparent is the best!
I couldn't resist making light of Stefanie's common sense rules. Check it out!

It's raining, it's pouring...

Jack was so looking forward to my visit to Wisconsin so we could play outside together. We were both very disappointed to wake up to a rainy day.

Cruisin' the Carribbean

Kayle and I couldn't resist celebrating Spring by taking Jack and his parents (Stef and Ed) on a Carribbean cruise. We had so much fun exploring the islands and the ship with our grandson Jack.
Stef & Ed posted pictures on their website.

Family Fun in Boston

On the Mayflower
Since Kayle and I were on the east coast of Leah's wedding we decided to go to Boston for a little sightseeing/business trip. While we were in Plymouth looking for the rock we ran into Grant's family (Becky's youngest brother). The rest of Becky's family braved the cold winds to walk the Freedom Trail...Burr! Afterwards we headed back to Rhode Island to be aquainted with some of Mark's (Becky's oldest brother) reptilian friends. Check it out - it's pretty wild!

Here Comes the Bride...

Leah and John's Wedding
On May 10th, Leah Preece (Becky's niece) married John Martineau in a beautiful country club setting in Rhode Island. There was just a short enough break in the cold rainy weather to allow the ceremony to take place outside as planned. I think everyone was relieved, especially the bride! Becky's parents, her three brothers and sister were all there to help celebrate the happy occassion.
